Unfortunately, the Windows Abstraction Layer will only be available on the Windows platform, ever. At the current time WAL binaries are only available for VC8, but you are welcome to build the source (check the Sourceforge page). If you do, however, I ask that you place a copy on the forums so that others will be able to utilize it.
